With our new 123 it’s a fruity abc on-line learning guide you can help your child or children learn synthetic phonics, just like they will in school.
Synthetic phonics is based on a week-by-week introduction of the letters and sounds in a simple systematic approach, enabling the child to build their knowledge and understanding in a progressive method to help develop early reading skills - and you can share in that too.
Being on-line it also helps to promote essential computer skills, developing co-ordination of mouse and cursor with a simple visual interface, so let them get involved while they learn.
Also with our 123 it’s a fruity abc ‘learn on-line’ facility, you can build in a healthy eating awareness of fruit and veggies to reward and encourage their progress.
Target Bullying.
Because it's not for a week, it's for a way of life.
The launch of a new website, www.targetbullying.com, is aimed at teachers to encourage and enable them to understand and deal with the problems associated with Bullying, and coincides with the National Anti-Bullying Week 19-23rd November in the UK.
There are also FREE posters aimed at students to help to get them to talk about their situation, or about a situation they know about, to someone who will help them.
The website also carries a Directory of major anti-bullying sites where teachers can gain further information, there's also an Open Forum for teachers encouraging exchange of views, experience and methodologies.

KnowKnowledge launches its first learn on-line product.
Introducing 'Be cool for school' week by week guide to synthetic phonics.
A brand new early learning DVD which is fun and fruity
An early learning on-line resource for children aged 1-6 years, which provides letters and sounds based in the ‘synthetic phonics’ approach as highlighted in the Rose report, cleverly integrated with an attractive and fun use of fruit and vegetables.
Clear visual letterforms are related to items of fruit and vegetables, accompanied by a voice over demonstrating the individual letter names and sounds, also blending some letter sounds into synthetic phonics and letter clusters to make whole words.
Be cool for school provides a multi-sensory learning experience together with all important computer skills, which is shared between parent, carer and child, developing early years understanding of the alphabet, letters and sounds. The resource is recommended for use on ‘A few minutes a day’ basis developing a learning routine with fruit and vegetables.
It’s also recommended to use sweet fresh fruit (or dried), and crunchy raw vegetables as a reward while having fun and learning.
